Controller and contact
Lumarao is a personal quiz and discovery project. Lumarao is the controller for the processing described here. Contact: [email protected].
Data we process
- Quiz answers held in your browser session to calculate your result.
- Anonymous event data, including quiz views, starts, completions and result IDs.
- Technical and security data, such as IP address, browser, device, request time and security logs, processed by our hosting and security providers.
We do not require an account, name or email address to take a quiz.
Purposes and legal bases
- Essential sessions and security: to deliver and protect Lumarao, based on our legitimate interests.
- Analytics and advertising: only after your freely given consent. Refusal does not block access to the site.
Cookies and consent
Necessary cookies support security and the quiz session. Optional Google Analytics and Google AdSense technology is not loaded until you choose “Accept analytics and ads”. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Google services and external links
If you consent, Google may process cookies, identifiers, IP address, browser and device data for analytics and advertising. Google is responsible for its own processing under its policies.

Sharing, transfers and retention
We use hosting, security and, with consent, Google services. These providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK or EEA, using safeguards described in their documentation. Session answers expire with the browser session. Anonymous activity and security records are retained only as long as needed to operate, improve and secure Lumarao, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Where GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to legitimate-interest processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service changes. The current version is always published here.
